Acceptable Use Policy
Restricted, prohibited, abusive, and high-risk activities that are not allowed on SenteRail.
This policy gives SenteRail a clear enforcement basis for illegal, deceptive, abusive, high-risk, or technically harmful use of the platform. It is intended to be read with the merchant terms and the general terms.
Merchants should also review our Merchant Terms and Complaints and Redress Policy.
Purpose of this policy
This Acceptable Use Policy defines activities that are prohibited, restricted, or reviewable on SenteRail. It applies to all merchants, partners, developers, users, operators, payers, and other persons using or attempting to use the Services.
This policy supplements all other SenteRail contractual terms. SenteRail may interpret and enforce this policy in light of legal obligations, payment network rules, provider restrictions, consumer protection duties, fraud patterns, and reputational risk.

You may not use SenteRail for any illegal, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized activity, including:
- money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, corruption, bribery, or tax evasion;
- sale or facilitation of illegal goods, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, or prohibited services;
- unlicensed financial services, illegal deposit taking, or disguised payment aggregation;
- fraudulent fundraising, Ponzi or pyramid schemes, phishing, impersonation, or identity abuse;

These may include digital assets, lending, advance payments for delayed delivery, crowdfunding, school fees collection, healthcare payments, high-ticket travel, agent networks, marketplaces, charitable collections, and regulated or sensitive products.
SenteRail may request additional due diligence, impose extra conditions, or decline support for such activities at its discretion.

You must not attempt to bypass authentication, limits, screening, or routing controls, nor should you reverse engineer, scrape, probe, scan, overload, or test the Services except through a controlled and expressly authorized process.
You must not share secrets insecurely, expose customer data, disable verification steps, falsify logs, or otherwise weaken the security posture of an SenteRail integration.
Truthfulness and transparency
You must be truthful in all onboarding submissions, transaction descriptions, checkout flows, billing descriptors, customer communications, invoices, tax data, and support interactions. SenteRail may take action where it detects hidden merchants, disguised purposes, false descriptors, or inconsistent business information.
Enforcement
SenteRail may investigate suspected breaches of this policy and may suspend users, block transactions, delay settlement, require remediation, terminate relationships, retain reserves, report to authorities, or take any other action reasonably necessary to protect the platform and comply with law.
SenteRail may update this policy as payment risks, laws, and provider requirements evolve.
